'Soccer Heart' tells the relatable story of Sakku, a young man whose passion for soccer was stifled by his father's insistence that he join the family fishing business. But Sakku refused to let his dreams be extinguished, and he defied his father's will to pursue his true calling. The film is an inspiration to all who have ever had to confront the conflict between their own dreams and the expectations of others. It is a reminder that it is never too late to chase your passions, no matter the obstacles that may arise. This initiative is part of the Uganda Communications Universal Service and Access Fund (UCUSAF), implemented through the Uganda Communications Commission (UCC). Initially planned for 100 participants, the overwhelming need and potential in Arua district has prompted us to extend our reach to 130 enthusiastic youth. Back in 2015, Nisha walked through our doors for her first screenwriting class – a spark of ambition igniting within her. Fast forward to today, and that spark has blossomed into a roaring fire.
