Director of Mediavision Academy together with the LC5 chairperson and the Deputy Mayor, Arua City Today, the city of Arua in the West Nile region of Uganda witnessed a groundbreaking event that signals a significant step towards digital empowerment and economic transformation. The Official Opening Ceremony for ICT and Multimedia Training, held at the Oli Central Division Council Hall, marked the beginning of a new era for the youth of Arua.   Mr. Nkambo Robert, CEO of Mediavision Academy, delivered an impassioned speech emphasizing the pivotal role of digital and ICT skills in addressing pressing societal issues, particularly youth unemployment. He highlighted the collaborative efforts between Mediavision Academy and the Uganda Communications Commission (UCC) to bridge the gap in digital literacy across the region. Empowering Arua's youths with ICT & Multimedia skills.

  Participants attending the ICT and Multimedia training at the Division Hall Written by Aloyo Annet, Director of Studies at Mediavision Academy Today marks the commencement of our five-day ICT and Multimedia training in Arua district.  The training is taking place at Oli division hall in the heart of Arua city.  Arua is a bustling regional trade hub in the far north of Uganda. This initiative is part of the Uganda Communications Universal Service and Access Fund (UCUSAF), implemented through the Uganda Communications Commission (UCC). Initially planned for 100 participants, the overwhelming need and potential in Arua district has prompted us to extend our reach to 130 enthusiastic youth.
