In a bid to empower the youth of Pakwach district with digital skills, a 5 days ICT & Multimedia Skilling for the Youth Training commenced on the 2nd ending on 6 th of April, 2024, at the council hall. This initiative, aimed at bridging the digital divide, is set to equip participants with essential skills for the digital age, such as content creation, multimedia production, and internet proficiency. Pakwach district, located in northern Uganda, is a predominantly rural area with limited access to technology and opportunities for youth development. The lack of digital skills and knowledge among the youth has been a major hindrance to their personal and economic growth. However, with the increasing use of technology in various sectors, it has become imperative for young people to be digitally literate and have multimedia skills.
