HALF-LIFE: A Ugandan Tale Takes Center Stage at UFF 2024!

The Uganda Film Festival (UFF) 2024 is in full swing, and excitement is buzzing around the highly anticipated film 'Half-Life,' directed by seasoned producer Richard Mulindwa. Yesterday, May 24th, the film had its screening at Cinemax Cinema Arena Mall, captivating the audience and marking a significant moment in Ugandan cinema. 

Mediavision Academy was present to support our friend and partner, Richard Mulindwa. He has consistently delivered exceptional stories through films like Leila, Monica, Freedom, and The Test.  Half Life promises to be another fascinating experience. The film has gathered a remarkable six (6) nominations at UFF 2024, demonstrating its creative merit and potential.

Mulindwa's dedication to showcasing Ugandan talent is unwavering. He consistently produces captivating feature films, short films, TV series, and more, pushing the boundaries of storytelling and fostering a vibrant cinematic landscape in Uganda. His commitment to excellence has earned him numerous awards and nominations, and we're rooting for him to sweep the categories at UFF this year!

Director of Mediavision Academy together with the LC5 chairperson and the Deputy Mayor, Arua City Today, the city of Arua in the West Nile region of Uganda witnessed a groundbreaking event that signals a significant step towards digital empowerment and economic transformation.
