ICT AND MULTIMEDIA TRAINING IN PAKWACH WRAP UP WITH FINANCIAL LITERACY
Over 100 youth in Pakwach district where 1/3 of the number constitute the unemployed category, have been blessed with a free training for a period on one week conducted by Mediavision Academy with support from Uganda Communications Commission to ensure young people in Pakwach compete favorably in workplace environment and the environment outside the workplace that impacts work.
In the last day of the training after successfully young people in Pakwach being taken through training in ICT and Multimedia skilling, Mediavision Academy thought it prudent enough to take through the participant in Entrepreneurial and Financial Literacy skill. Financial literacy for social media and multimedia content creators is vital since it will help them to in budgeting and cost management, financial record keeping and credit control and also principles of Excellency in social media entrepreneurship.

Pakwach LC V Chairperson Robert Omito Steen posed a challenging question to the young people why provoke to sit on their talents even after acquiring this skills. Importantly, these questions carry implications for talent management practices, which have been instrumental for the participants in sustaining their competitive advantage.

Meanwhile Pakwach District Youth Chairperson in his remark stated that managing careers has undoubtedly become more complicated for young employers, he stressed that this timely training with the awards of certificate to the participants by Mediavision Academy and UCC with help serious participants build better careers in future.
