A Mediavision Alumus MARVIN MUGERWA wins best photographer award

A Mediavision Academy alumnus Marvin Miles Mugerwa emerged the winner for the Travel Photographer of 2023 during the recently concluded  Ekkula Tourism Awards 2023.  This is exciting news to hear as we wind up the year.  The event took place at a glamorous award night at Sheraton Kampala on Fiday 24th November 2023.  It was attended by stakeholders in the tourism sector, general public and nominees.  MEDIAVISION ACADEMY was represented by Osbert Muhumuza an aluminum and producer at Mediavision Academy.

The festival awarded winners in 22 categories and 2 hounorary awards.  The chief guest Hon. Kabyanga Godfrey applauded the winners and commended Bismac Moses Amumpaire the brain behind the Ekkula awards for this initiative.

Director of Mediavision Academy together with the LC5 chairperson and the Deputy Mayor, Arua City Today, the city of Arua in the West Nile region of Uganda witnessed a groundbreaking event that signals a significant step towards digital empowerment and economic transformation.
