A Mediavision Alumus MARVIN MUGERWA wins best photographer award

Marvin Mugerwa receiving his award   A Mediavision Academy alumnus  Marvin Miles Mugerwa  emerged the winner for the  Travel Photographer of 2023  during the recently concluded   Ekkula Tourism Awards  2023.  This is exciting news to hear as we wind up the year.  The event took place at a glamorous award night at  Sheraton Kampala  on Fiday 24th November 2023.  It was attended by stakeholders in the tourism sector, general public and nominees.  MEDIAVISION ACADEMY was represented by  Osbert Muhumuza  an aluminum and producer at Mediavision Academy.  Marvin Mugerwa together with his supporting team The festival awarded winners in 22 categories and 2 hounorary awards.  The chief guest  Hon. Kabyanga Godfrey  applauded the winners and commended  Bismac Moses Amumpaire  the brain behind the Ekkula awards for this initiative. 1OTH EDITION OF PEARL INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL

  The 10 th Edition of Pearl International Film Festival kicked off with a glamorous opening night at Cinemax 3D, Ham Towers on Tuesday 21 st November and on the 25 th , invited guests showcased diverse senses of fashion at the award Gala night at Theatre Labonita. The excitement of being at the top of the filmma king art in Uganda was seen among winners at the Pearl International Film Festival as 15 nominees walked away with awards in different categories of Best Short Film, documentary, Makeup, costume, sound, editing, cinematography, actor, actress, supporting actor, supporting actress, feature film and best director. Nkambo Robert, being the chief Jury on behalf of the judges presented a report of selected winners from a list of 75 nominations.
