MEDIAVISION ACADEMY®: Director Robert Nkambo received the Afriwood Studioz Limited delegation

On Friday, 30 September 2022, Robert Nkambo, director of the MEDIAVISION ACADEMY®, received a delegation of Afriwood Studioz Ltd. at the campus of the academy.  The meeting focused on collaboration as part of the launch of a crime drama television series entitled “Mania Movie Premiere”. 

 

The Afriwood Studioz Ltd.’s delegation was composed of Angél Toni Acer and Genevieve Tusiime, chief executive director and executive director respectively, both presented detailed information concerning “Mania Movie Premiere” project.  The crime drama television series will be launched on Friday, 11 November 2022 at the National Theatre. 

 

The Academy, which is supporting the launch of the drama series, will be attending the red-carpet premiere ceremony.

A Mediavision Alumus MARVIN MUGERWA wins best photographer award

Marvin Mugerwa receiving his award   A Mediavision Academy alumnus  Marvin Miles Mugerwa  emerged the winner for the  Travel Photographer of 2023  during the recently concluded   Ekkula Tourism Awards  2023.  This is exciting news to hear as we wind up the year.  The event took place at a glamorous award night at  Sheraton Kampala  on Fiday 24th November 2023.  It was attended by stakeholders in the tourism sector, general public and nominees.  MEDIAVISION ACADEMY was represented by  Osbert Muhumuza  an aluminum and producer at Mediavision Academy.  Marvin Mugerwa together with his supporting team The festival awarded winners in 22 categories and 2 hounorary awards.  The chief guest  Hon.
