"IT WASN'T EASY"....THANK YOU MEDIAVISION ACADEMY FOR THE SUPPORT.....I MADE IT!

Elisha and the crew celebrated the success of a production of “MY WORST ROOM MATE”, a short feature film about Derrick, a 20-year-old boy, and his roommate Thomas, who is a year older than him.  Derrick’s belongings and other valuables kept on disappearing,” writes Elisha.  As days went by, Thomas’ character was exposed and the truth just came out.  “He was the thief.

“It wasn’t easy, the entire process of script and proposal writing, crew assembling and organization of production meetings was challenging,” Kizito Elisha Winner, a final year Film Art Production student, said at the cake cutting ceremony that took place on 13 October 2022 at the Academy campus.

They were joined by Robert Nkambo and Annet Aloyo Director and Director of Studies respectively at the campus.

Robert Nkambo was the project supervisor and commended, “Elisha has demonstrated victory! What he went through was not simple but he never gave up. It should be a principle and life lesson to all the students to remember that success cannot be achieved on a silver platter.”

Teamwork was highly felt during the shoot, and being one of our core values, the Academy always encourages all students to embrace teamwork aside from the practical skills they get during their training.
